Raheny is a decent place to start if you need a vet for your dog or cat. There are only two local options, so this is not a town with lots of choice, but the overall feedback is very strong and based on a large number of reviews. That gives a bit more confidence than a high rating based on only a handful of comments. The service mix also suggests care is not limited to basic companion animal work, which can be helpful if your household has more than one type of pet.
A couple of practical points matter in Raheny. None of the clinic listings here are verified, so it is worth double-checking details like opening hours, services, and who you will see before booking. Both clinics stay open past 7pm, which is useful if you cannot get away during the day. Weekend access is more limited, with only one of the two open then. For urgent problems outside normal hours, clinics arrange cover for their clients, sometimes at the practice and sometimes through another clinic or an out-of-hours service, so ask exactly how that works when you register.
Because the choice in Raheny is small, your next step should be simple and direct. Call both practices and ask about appointment wait times, same-day sick pet slots, and how easy it is to see the same vet for follow-up visits. If your pet is nervous, elderly, or has an ongoing condition, ask how they handle longer consultations and continuity of care. That will usually tell you more than ratings alone, and it can quickly show which clinic feels like the better fit for you and your pet.
