DSPCA Veterinary Clinic appears to operate under the Village Vets name (the clinic website and multiple reviewers refer to “Village Vets / Village Vets DSPCA”). Based on what owners describe, the practice handles a mix of routine care (annual vaccinations, regular injections and check-ups) and urgent cases (e.g., an injured cat seen quickly). Reviewers repeatedly mention clear explanations during consultations, pets being handled gently (especially cats), and staff working through busy periods that include emergencies. One recurring concern is consistency: a long-term client notes a high staff turnover, making it harder for pets to see familiar vets on regular visits.

All of the staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. And they clearly genuinely care about the animals that they treat. We have been using the practice for several years and highly recommend them.

Had fog in for regular injection and examination. Vet attentive and thorough again, with advice obviously well informed on Case specifics.

My pets have been a long time with Village vets & they are always so well looked after. All your staff are so lovely, polite & efficient but I would love if we could have more consistency with the staff as you seem to have a high staff turnover. Which means my pets on their regular visits don't know the vets & the vets don't know them and their quirky ways. Thank you

Very caring and accommodating. I had my previous dog registered there and we chose the same care for our new puppy. They always do their best to fit in appointments if something happens or if I have a concern. I signed up for the health plan, so I only need to pay for the extras. Combined with my Allianz pet insurance, I feel confident that our pet Buddy is well covered. All staff are nice, especially Mary who cover the desk on Saturdays

have been a regular client at Village vets DSPCA for several years, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care my pets and I have consistently received. From routine check-ups to more urgent medical needs, the team at this clinic has always been professional, compassionate, and highly skilled. The veterinarians are incredibly knowledgeable and take the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of my pets’ health and treatment options. They are always patient with my questions and provide thoughtful, detailed answers that give me confidence in their expertise. The clinic itself is clean, modern, and well-equipped with the latest technology, ensuring that my pets receive the best possible care. The staff members are friendly and genuinely care about the well-being of each animal that comes through their doors.
