Brought my precious dog here three years ago as we were looking for a naturopath who would also be a qualified and experienced veterinarian. The experience has exceeded our expectations and we haven't regretted the decision .

I have been a client with this clinic for 5 years. I recently brought my dog there for a consultation regarding dental treatment. I was quoted €865 plus possible extras for grade 2 plaque removal under aesthetic. I in addition paid for the consultation. The vet was to get back to me regarding a 2 step payment plan as this procedure was not covered under my insurance. They never got back to me. Please note I had the very same procedure carried out today by another highly professional local veterinary clinic for €425. Needless to say I will not be using this clinic again in the future. I would give a higher rating if I could. The care and attention received at Portmarnock Veterinary Clinic was excellent. Fiona was able to make this the most stress-free vet visit my cat has ever had, without needing to sedate her, which I haven't experienced elsewhere, and she thoroughly discussed the options for my cat's complicated case. My dog is now 8 years old. Portmarnock vet team have looked after him when he needed care. Bosco is cared for gently and in a quiet easy way I haven't experienced in any other vet practice.
