The team in Village Vets Lusk have been absolutely incredible. We have quite a few cats and dogs and we're frequent visitors to the clinic. We first moved to Village Vets when one of our cats required emergency care on a Sunday and we were able to avail of the A&E clinic in Ashbourne. Access to a 24/7 clinic offers us such peace of mind. We then moved all our animals to the Lusk clinic. Carla and Peter have been caring for our animals for over a year now and we're extremely grateful for both of them. Earlier this year we had an emergency before closing time. Peter stayed on that evening to perform the surgery and was so thorough with the aftercare. Carla has provided us with support for a young cat that had asthma. We also have a very nervous pup and they have been so patient with him. Recently, the entire team, Carla, Peter, Eva, Leah and Rebecca were there for us when we had to say goodbye to our youngest cat who had a long-term illness. It was one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make but the team supported us and were so understanding. We received a hand written card from them afterwards and it meant so much to us. It is very comforting knowing we have a vet clinic that supports us during a very difficult time. Highly recommend Village Vets Lusk to anyone looking exceptional care for their pets .

My journey begin 15 years ago when I got my puppy Buddy, through the years I thought him many tricks and when he was 14, I thought him 4 languages 1, Irish. 2, English. 3 Spanish and 4 Serbian. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but as I am a Life Coach, he learnth them and I videoed him doing it, thank God I did because when he was 14 and a half he started going deaf and he developed a lump beside his but hole and tail which started growing and bleeding, I took him to 3 different vets, they all said he was too old for an opperation, that he may not survive the anesthetic, then I called my neice who is a veterinarian in Lundon, she said just make him as comfortable as you can or if you wanted to get the opperation done at least you know you have tried everything. So he was not in pain and he was bleeding for a long time when the smell was so bad and I could not leave him to go on like this, I asked God what can I do with Buddy, it looked like we were coming to our departure, our hearts was broken and after a long time nearly a year hopeing he would get better, my wife and 3 sons decided we would let him go under the opperation. We picked Village Vet in Lusk, which was the most concerned about him to do the opperation, the day of his opperation, I said to God, if you take him, I will know it was the best for him. On the morning of his opperation I held his little face and said, everything will be ok and after the opperation we will go for a walk. Well Buddy survided and walked out of the vet the same day and when I brought him back to Peter the main vet for his check up I was explaining to Peter that Buddy is a miracle he transformed from walking poorly for a year to dragging me and being full of life, he is like being a puppy again. I would like to take this oppertunity to thank Peter and his team for giving Buddy back to me with the miracle they preformed. Patrick Hayden.

5 star service from Village Vets Lusk. Our dog was bitten badly and required stitches. Peter the Vet genuinely cared for our dog as if it was his own. Great care and follow up after. Simple and perfect service, but on this occasion he went above and beyond to treat the dog same day. Thank you

We have the pet plan so pay monthly which was of great benefit when we had to appear with no notice for emergency due to the great grape consumption of 2025 !!? All the staff were amazing and safe to say our dog is banned 🚫 from the fruit bowl. Since then the beast has been neutered and everything was perfect great aftercare. Couldn't recommend the team in Lusk enough ❤️
