From the Peelo family, we would like to say a massive thank you to all the amazing staff at O'Scanaill vets for the love, care and kindness they showed to our beautiful baby girl Roxy who sadly passed away yesterday. They've been extremely kind and caring to Roxy and our family since she was a pup. A very special and heartfelt thank you to Carol Anne who was there for Roxy during all her 14 years, your passion and kindness to Roxy and our family was truly a blessing and we are forever grateful x Thank you all for everything x

Sadly, Our beautiful Mabel & ourselves were badly let down by this practice. We had been long time clients. When Mabel developed a bad cough, retching at the end and a small solid lump on her hip, we brought her here for a full examination. She was diagnosed with kennel cough & lump called insignificant. 2 weeks later we returned because the cough had worsened and the lump had doubled. The diagnosis remained the same. Asked for bloods to be done. A week later we returned and saw a different vet, Conor. He told us the blood results were clear, we asked about doing imaging, he told us we would be throwing our money away. When we asked how confident he was with the diagnosis, he laughed and said he had been in this game over 35 years. He also told us to stop bringing Mabel in over niggling little things, he said if you keep looking for things, we'll find them and regarding the lump, he said sure we all get lumps and bumps as we get older. Still concerned, we brought Mabel to another vet. Who diagnosed an enlarged heart. Started meds . We still weren't satisfied as symptoms were not clearing up . Went to killester vets. They carried out full imaging and biopsies. Mabel was diagnosed with tumors in her lung, on hip and lower leg, it was an agressive cancer. She sadly passed away last Saturday. Had O'Scanaill vets taken our concerns seriously they would have done a full investigation including imaging which they did not . We are absolutely sickened by the treatment we received from O'Scanaill vets. While this practice maybe fine for routine check ups, we felt there was a serious lack of care and attention given to both the animals and the concerns of their owners. Ask yourself how much you love your pet before bringing them here .

Don't bring your pets here. They have no care in the world for animal welfare and I would not trust any of these people with my pets. HORRIBLE!!!!

Amazing talented and expert staff and such a friendly place to be for the animals. The outdoor area makes being there with kids and animals hassle free I couldn’t recommend this place enough to everyone while there we met many pet owners who had changed vets due to pet anxiety to join this vets as they are so kind and pet centred. The staff are so supportive giving you all the information you need and Millie walked in like she was going to a friends house after our first appointment.

The vets at O'Scanaill Hospital are truly fantastic. They care for your dog as if it's their own, they're very understanding and patient and investigate every issue thoroughly no matter how small or big. Thanks to them my senior dog no longer suffers from chronic ear infections. They also diagnosed him with conditions which went unnoticed at other clinics despite him showing the symptoms, so he can now get the treatment he needs. I cannot thank them enough!
